Occupational Therapy is a service to assist people in achieving independence in their daily life. We all have “occupations” – that which occupies our day. With children, it may be the need to perform learning or developmental tasks. These activities require complex skills that include muscle strength, hand and eye coordination, motor planning, perceptual and visual skills, cognitive planning, self-care, social skills and integrated sensory information.  At times, adaptations or modifications may be required to help children succeed.
